Metered parking is available on Commercial Road outside the Alfred Hospital, or in the Alfred Visitor's carpark.

We are just 5km from Melbourne's CBD, within easy access to trams, trains and buses.

The SPHPM is located in the Alfred Hospital's Medical Research and Education Precinct (AMREP). AMREP is a new research complex which brings together some of Melbourne's top research institutes, including the Burnet Institute, Baker Heart Research Institute, Clinical Trials Victoria and the Monash Blood Diseases Group. Being located at AMREP gives our staff and students opportunities to collaborate with staff from other research groups, to access the AMREP Education Centre seminar and classrooms, and to use the Ian Potter Library.

• Catch tram number 72 from Flinders Street to Punt Road. This stops almost outside the Burnet Building.
• The 246 bus from Bundoora also runs along Punt Road close to the Burnet Building.
• Catch trains to Prahran Station (Sandringham line) then a short walk to Commercial Road (near Punt Road).
